Conservative Policy Action Condemns False Attacks on Delegate Jonathan Pinson

Charleston, W. Va. – Conservative Policy Action, Inc., a leading advocate for conservative principles in West Virginia, vehemently denounces the false attacks launched against Delegate Jonathan Pinson by a dark money, liberal group hiding behind the label of West Virginia Family Foundation. These baseless accusations aim to mislead voters and tarnish the reputation of a dedicated public servant.

The recent direct mail campaign falsely claims that Pinson voted to remove licensing requirements for workers, purportedly to facilitate the hiring of illegal aliens in West Virginia. This assertion is categorically untrue. Pinson’s vote aimed to streamline licensing requirements to promote business growth and economic development in our state, not to support illegal activities.

“These deceptive attacks on Delegate Jonathan Pinson are a blatant attempt to manipulate voters and advance the agenda of outside, special interest groups,” said Matthew Parker, executive director of Conservative Policy Action. “Jonathan has consistently championed conservative values and worked tirelessly to promote policies that benefit all West Virginians. Pinson previously served seven years as a police officer and is currently senior pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Point Pleasant. He is a dedicated husband to his wife of 14 years, Amy. The couple has five children.
